If you are a practicing artist – amateur or
professional – or if you appreciate art and like
to associate with artists, The Dublin Area Art
League extends an invitation for you to join its
membership and take advantage of the many
opportunities the League has to offer.
The Dublin Area Art League is a non-profit
group, established in 1985, open to anyone in
the central Ohio area. Members enjoy the
benefits of a monthly program from Sept. - May,
the opportunity to enter two or three
dimensional pieces into juried and non-juried
shows, workshop opportunities and time to share
information about the arts.
There are three levels of membership: Artist,
Patron or Student. The artist level is $20.00
annually and allows all of the above benefits.
Patron level is $15.00 annually and allows all
of the above benefits except they may not
exhibit pieces in shows. Student level is
$10.00 and is for High School students and
allows the same benefits as a patron.
Many budding artists of all ages wonder if they
are "good enough" to join the Dublin Area Art
League. One way to explore this is to join as a
Patron, attend meetings and shows, and upgrade
their membership at any time to artist. Talking
to other members, volunteering to help with
programs and watching demonstrations will help
nurture and foster their interest until they are
ready to take that first step to enter a juried
show. You are the judge of when you'd like full
membership.
We meet the 2nd Thursday of the month, at the
Dublin Library. Please join us!
If you have any questions about the Dublin Area
Art League, please contact Cindy Bryden, this
year' s President, at 614-793-9568 or Carolyn Woda , membership chairman at 888-7380. You are
welcome to attend one of our meetings before
deciding on membership.
If there is more than one member of your family
who wishes to join, family membership is $25.00
annually. Please make out your check and mail
